Nell’era digitale la carta continua ad avere un ruolo primario per scrivere, disegnare, fissare idee. Slowtech è l’elogio della carta, un taccuino con la copertina in pelle microforata, un richiamo ai carter degli apparecchi tecnologici che ci circondano, che anziché lasciare intravedere meccanismi o circuiti, rivela la superficie della carta lucida che sta all’interno.
In the Digital Age, paper continues to keep its primary role in writing, drawing, and giving shape to ideas. Slowtech is a tribute to paper, a notebook with a microperforated leather cover that recalls the housings of the technological devices that surround us that, rather than permitting mechanisms or wires be seen, reveals the surface of the embossed paper inside.

In realtà questa libreria ha almeno un paio d’anni in più di quanto dichiarato. E’ nata in casa mia, cercando una soluzione molto flessibile per libri e oggetti. Da qui l’idea di un sistema autoportante e facilmente personalizzabile, per creare pareti divisorie, librerie “fai da te”, da montare a seconda delle esigenze.
Actually, this bookcase is a couple of years older than admitted. I created it at home, looking for a flexible solution for my books and objects. This inspired the idea of a self-supporting system that is easily customizable, to create partitions and “do it yourself” bookcases that can be assembled as needed.

Abbiamo riunito in una workshop cinque designer e una grande azienda intorno ad un tavolo per riflettere sul tema dell’accessorio, della moda, dello stile. Il risultato: una serie di progetti, di esperimenti, di idee. Un humus su cui costruire forse qualcosa di innovativo.
Five designers and a big company were united in a workshop, seated around a table to reflect on the topic of accessories, fashion, and style. The result: a series of projects, experiments and ideas. A veritable breeding ground for innovation.

Kay House è un marchio giapponese che ha voluto qualche anno fa creare l’evento Kitchen Design Movement. I temi: la convivialità contemporanea, il design. Night&Day è un set da tavola con accessori intercambiabili. Una doppia vita: sale, pepe, olio e aceto. Oppure un vaso e 4 candelabri.
Kay House is a Japanese brand which a few years ago created the Kitchen Design Movement event. The themes: modern conviviality, design. Night&Day is a table set with interchangeable accessories. Dual use: salt, pepper, oil and vinegar. Or a vase with 4 candle holders.
