SoFar, prima ancora di essere un marchio, è stata la celebrazione di un’amicizia transoceanica. Due designer agli antipodi, con molte cose da dirsi: Fernando Contreras Wood e Matteo Ragni. Ne è nata una piccola produzione di oggetti che sommano le due culture progettuali: quella italiana e quella cilena. È un marchio che esiste ancora ed è sempre un angolo di idealismo: un giorno, ne siamo certi, sarà normale far funzionare le cose da una parte all’altra della terra.

Stefano Cardini ha progettato l’immagine coordinata e un vaso/logo, Elisa Massoni ha rappresentato l’anima del progetto con le sue parole.

Even before it was a brand, SoFar was a celebration of a transoceanic friendship. Two designers on opposite sides of the globe, both with a great deal to say: Fernando Contreras Wood and Matteo Ragni. The result was a limited production of objects that encapsulate the two design cultures: Italian and Chilean. It is a brand that still exists and is always an idealistic niche: we’re sure that one day it will be normal to make things work from one side of the earth to the other.
